Elyse Marrone, RD/LDN CGP

Registered dietitian, functional and integrative nutrition · The Lifestyle Nutrition Institute · Jupiter, FL

On the show

“I want to be healthy, healthy, healthy, dead.”

Elyse described herself as a functionally and integratively trained dietitian who looks at all seven pillars of a patient’s lifestyle: food first, exercise, sleep, stress management, supplementation, hydration and community. She calls the goal the triple HD plan. After a breast cancer diagnosis, she said, the first place she looks is the gut, where she puts 80 to 90% of the immune system. She closed on sleep, recommending blue light blocker glasses from 8 o’clock in the evening to help the body start producing melatonin.
